Research of the group focuses on understanding the relation between the current state of the brain (i.e. vigilance level, attention, emotions) and sensory information processing. Using electrophysiological recording techniques and neuroinformatic methods for data analysis we are trying to correlate the specific activation of known neuronal networks with their behavioural context.

Two main lines of investigation include i) information processing in the cortico-thalamic part of somatosensory system; ii) attention and cognitive control in the human brain.
